Which Borescopes Are Compatible With Each Other?Updated 10 months ago

Teslong makes a range of borescopes, which can be divided into 4 categories:

Flexible - NTG100 (45" long), NTG150W, NTG450, NTG500

Rigid Pistol - NTG100P (10" long), NTG150PW

Rigid Rifle - NTG100H (26" long), NTG150HW, NTG450H, NTG500H

Foldable - NTG200H (26" long), NTG200H 4.5" monitor, NTG200H 5" monitor

All of the borescopes use the same thread-on connection so they are all interchangeable. If you own an NTG450H (4.5" monitor) and want to add a pistol probe to use with the monitor that came with your NTG450H setup then you simply buy an NTG100P and it will plug right in. The same goes for the flexible or foldable borescope probes.

The only thing that is not interchangeable between these models is that the 5-mirror kit for the foldable NTG200H models is not compatible with the non-foldable borescope probes, and visa versa. If you have a 5-mirror kit for an NTG500H (5" monitor), then it will not work on the NTG200H probe, but both of these borescopes include their own 5-mirror kit so you just have to keep track of which is which and don't mix up the mirrors.

Wi-Fi - If you want to use any of these borescopes wirelessly with an Apple or Android smartphone or tablet then you need to use the Q-to-U cable (thread-on aerospace connector on one end and USB-A on the other) - this cable should have been included with your borescope -  with a WF150 Wi-Fi transmitter that you can purchase on our accessory page for $50.
