The image on my screen is blurry.Updated a year ago

It is not unusual for the image on your screen to be blurry from time to time. This commonly happens when the lens is too close to the subject. Try to fix this by adjusting the distance between the camera lens and the subject.

If you are looking through a borescope using a side mirror then the mirror focus may need to be adjusted. The mirror threads onto the tip of the borescope and a lockring holds it in place. Loosen the lock ring and unthread the mirror a couple of turns, retighten the lockring and then check your focus again. If you are inspecting a smaller caliber barrel, like a .22, then the mirror will have to be positioned at the very end of the threads - far away from the camera lens. If you are inspecting a larger caliber barrel, like a .45, you will have to thread the mirror further onto the threads - closer to the camera lens.

Finally, if adjusting the focus does not help try cleaning the lens. It's recommended to clean the camera lens and mirrors before and after each use with a soft microfiber cloth and a cotton swab. For stubborn stains you can use warm water or rubbing alcohol, but don’t use stronger solvents.
