How do I get my wireless unit connected to my device?Updated 9 months ago
"Smart Endoscope" Initial Setup Instructions:
2) Hold the POWER button to turn on the unit. If you have an otoscope then the Wi-Fi should turn on automatically, but if you have an inspection camera like a TD500, NTS600, or NTS700 then you will need to turn on the Wi-Fi in the devices "Settings" section. There should be a Wi-Fi icon on the screen when it is active.
3) Open the Wi-Fi settings on your smartphone/tablet & turn on Wi-Fi, then select the unit's network.
* The Wi-Fi network may show up as "Smart_Otoscope_xxx" or "WIFI CAM_xxx", etc...
* Dismiss any notifications indicating "No internet via connection", as this is normal.
4) Open the "Smart Endoscope" app & allow ALL requested permissions for the proper functionality of the app.
**App activation is not necessary to use the app.
5) Press the blue " + " button in the top-right corner of the screen.
6) Scroll through the list of products & select your device, then press the "Next Step" button.
7) Press the "Skip" button in the top-right corner of the screen.
8) Press the green "Connected" button to initiate the use of your device.
